We’ve got a house full of folks, actually two houses full. Ashley put us to work. Addair had his second home visit by the nurse he’s just perfect, affirmed by a medical professional.
If the rain holds back today, which it isn’t, I’m going to finish my paint job. And since no one should get into any exterior painting with a 70% percent chance of thunderstorms, I won’t. But just to say, I could finish it in a day if I could get a good one in. Instead [...] Continue Reading »
Extra! Extra! Levon made the front page of the Knoxville News Sentinel! Glimpse his bravery and handsomeness here. And a congratulations to neighbor, Lauren Rider for receiving the Ronald E. Childress Award for Preservationists of the Year.

The days agenda, and our anniversary gift to ourselves, was to construct a new couch; a simple, rugged, and perhaps even collapsible piece to survive a possible [...] Continue Reading »
Tomorrow is kind of a big day for us, our seven year anniversary. We’ve been talking about what we’re going to do for a while and it’s looking like we’re going to build a couch. Ashley has some concepts, all of them minimalist, and she feels I am qualified to make the cuts and assemble [...] Continue Reading »
