I do many things, perhaps music has been most constant. I am also a financial expert, after eight years of that. I’ve played the piano for 25 years since my mother first made me. Currently I am a roofer. Musicians with delicate hands and sloppy finances: I don’t know how they do it.
My wife is a true artist and I am a four-chord singing fool. We have a son named Addair Kentucky Walker.
I’m from small town in Kentucky. We live in Knoxville, Tennessee. We like to make our rounds though.
The best compliment I ever got was that my music was the purest form of adult contemporary. I took that to mean it was smart and well rooted. But I started writing country when I got old enough to appreciate who it was talking to. I’m loyal to my roots now, I’ve seen how far away I could lean.
