Levon Walker is a small town Kentucky boy with a calm disposition and curious method of perception that has resulted in a lifelong wrestle with convention and a certain eb and flow which feels natural but generally leads to discomfort and foundering, although it provides decent and natural material for songwriting, or at least the path to songwriting, and the execution of such writing has contributed to what feels more like confused clarity towards something that feels better but offers the realization that it won’t work practically and therefore songwriting remains to be something always at the fingertips and nothing that a writer could see that he does however it is something he has felt he has come close to in more than a few instances.
