The Oklahoma house is finished. Nathan and Knox got the porch and door touched up just about the time the torrential rain began. I don’t have any after pictures to show you yet. There is an old house over in Historic Mechanicsville that Scott owns. We’ve been finishing the paint job a day here, a day there. All that remains are the nosebleed sections, and you may be wondering how I took a photo of this fully extended 32 ft ladder without being on the ladder. I’m on a different ladder propped against a toeboard.

On this front gable, to get all the way out and all the way up it takes both moves. Here is a properly placed and necessitated ladder pivot:

But for me, I like the flat ground for my monkey maneuvers.

It was my personal goal to reach as high on the left sides as Scott had gotten on the right sides already. On the outside of the very peak, it’s going to take a 40 ft ladder. The storms came in yesterday before we could go get it. Here it is, compared to the 28 and 24. And they’re all in half, of course. Gotta go, rain stopped.
