There’ve been some longs days at the job site this week. Fortunately the job site is not my next door neighbor on the corner, but the next. Actually it’s the house in view from our bedroom window.
We had two full days of scraping, another day of partial prep while we started painting, and every day has required a scraper and a dust brush in both pockets. I think I counted 20 tubes of caulk one day in the grass, like spent ammo from the smoking caulk gun. We’re in our third case now.

I think we’re three days away. I hope that anyway. Our next house is a castle, if I can get the bid. A little further away, up the hill on Scott St.
