The house is nearly ready to paint.  By the end of Saturday we had most of the house scraped, caulked and spot primed.  The side shown below was completely down to the wood.  The back corner section over the metal roof still needs some work.  You can see the newer siding never got painted and it’s in need of repair.   It’s going to be a tricky ladder move with the metal roof coming out so far.  You can’t walk it.  The fence may have come down in a section for the base of the ladder to be wide from the house.  Then we can reach around the window with a standoff.

At some point tomorrow we’ll open cans of paint, and we couldn’t be more happy about that.
