with a steady hand and a quart of paint

Today I’ll finish a 14 color interior paint job that I’ve been at for a bit.  I took on a small crew the last couple days to get it moving along and today I’m headed over there to touch up the last of it.  The problem with that many colors in that many rooms and that many guys (as many as three) is that I’ve needed quite a few brushes and I’ve needed to be thinking about how to get 175 things done.  Painting inside is more time spent moving things, covering things, sanding, wiping things, caulking, spackling, all out drywall fixing, and then sanding and cleaning and remembering where everything was.  I’d say actual painting is %50.  I’ve discovered the 3 1/2 inch Corona “Yuma” and I’m revealing my secret brush to you devoted readers.  It holds a lot of paint (possibly a quart) and stays sharp all day.

Anyways, today I’m back to being alone and am putting on the final finish.  The homeowners get home tonight and they haven’t seen it.  Yikes.

Pictures definitely and I’m heading out this weekend for a 31/2″ Corona “Yuma” to finish the front door !! Thanks for the tip, it appears that you have become, “Particular” :-)

Yeah going with moving to the 3 1/2 is the best investment I ever made in myself besides marrying a real painter. You go to Corona and you’ll never go back. Stainless steel ferrel, a good balance, easy to work. Last you forever.
