Thanks to everyone who has listened to or purchased the new CD.  As you know, Jay-Z and Kanye released their duo project yesterday as well.  I’m not sure if their numbers are in, but we got nearly 400 hits so far at bandcamp.com.  I told them I’d see them at the Grammy’s.

In the meantime I’m going to write President Obama a letter and enclose an album copy.  ”Mr. President, hope is what we need. Also there’s a song in there about driving little highways around Illinois, and here’s a picture of Ashley and I at your house near the University of Chicago.  Anyways, here’s my CD about hope and I was thinking maybe you could toss it along a little further than I could.”

We’re getting on a megabus tonight for Virginia.  Looking forward to Grace Acres Farm and VA Beach, places we have called home and still do.
