Departed Knoxville on Sunday, 7pm.
Switched at the wheel all night, stopped at rest area in Slidell, Louisiana, 4am. Slept until 7 starting the car every 45 minutes. 27 degrees.
New Orleans, 8am.
driving aimlessly
Toured the French Quarter and Mississippi Delta with the National Park Service, 9-11 am 46 degrees.
New Orleans Museum of Art 11:30-1:30
2pm started West on I10 towards Baton Rouge. 63 degrees.
HW 90 from Lafayette to Lake Charles
Lake Charles is closed on Sundays. At a Books A Million to catch up, boil pasta in the parking lot, and brush our teeth. 6:30 pm. Headed for Houston at least, maybe camping on Galveston Island.
